A Life Of Humility

Humility is not weakness. When you are with humble, you know it and other people will see it. Humility is genuinely caring about other people. Humility is having power and knowledge and have them under control.

We are not born with humility and we have to learn humility. “So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” 1 Peter 5:6. Seek humility and the ability to use power you have for the good of other people. Don’t crave recognition, think yourself less or making life more about me.

How to cultivate humility

1. Own your pride

2. Start serving

3. Keep listening and learning

4. Never become status conscious

5. Stop taking yourself so seriously

6. Spend time with children

7. Don’t lose perspective

“No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”
Micah 6:8. Walk humbly with God.
